This blog began as my attempt to capture how my background as a small town Missouri girl translated to the hippest borough in one of the world’s biggest and most iconic cities; Brooklyn, New York.

Now that life has lead this small town girl back to the Midwest, I’m moving forward with one foot in NYC and one foot in Missouri, writing and photographing the countless things that I find beautiful and inspiriting and quirky about small town Missouri. I truly believe that you can find amazing things everywhere, if you’re ready to see them.
